Who Am I

Caroline O'Brien - Animal Care Munster.

Caroline graduated from the D'Arcy Lane Institute, London, Ontario, Canada in 2004. D'Arcy Lane offers the most intensive program of its kind in Equine Massage Therapy in North America.

Part of what made the program unique was the students were taught to consider themselves as an extension of veterinary health care and not an alternative. I worked with veterinarians to minimise rehabilitation time and enhance performance.

Treatment Details

The initial treatment session starts with a consultation and assessment.

  • Completion of a consultation form, including a full case history of any previous illnesses or injuries, medications if any.
  • Assessment of your pet.

Once I have completed the assessment I will develop an individual treatment programme. In most cases, this will involve more than one treatment session. At certain points within the treatment programme, I may reassess the progress and response – at which time the treatment programme may be revised accordingly.

Treatment involves:

The above incorporate Klaser therapy if required.

The following therapies are not a replacement for regular veterinary care. If your pet is poorly please contact a veterinarian first to diagnose the injury.

There are many injuries where these therapies can assist with the rehabilitative process, but it is imperative that the therapist be in contact with the attending vet and receive their permission before treatment may begin.
